my digifant had heavy consumption and an eratic idle-turned out2be the we rubber doofer between the crankcase ventilation valve and the rocker cover was split where it goes in2the rocker cover.Took ages2sus out but is only a couple of squid from VAG.got to be worth a check!!PS--DOOFER is not a technical term!!
