Brakes!!!
« on: 28 March 2006, 14:33 »
Will mk2 pads fit in mk3 calipers? I've heard that mk3 calipers are a direct replacement but was just wondering if the pads are the same??? Cheers.

I think the brakes on the rear of both Mk2 and Mk3 are 226mm. Pads should be a direct fit.
Mk2 8v and 16v.

Always looking for bits!

92-93 are the same (rear calipers are identical to MK2 ones) but from 93 the pads are different, as are the calipers.  The design was changed with an internal spring to prevent them siezing up.
