Advice on Parts for my MK II GTI 16v
« on: 24 March 2006, 17:37 »
Sadly, I have to sell my Oak Green GTI 16V 1990 H plate, can't afford to keep her anymore.
The car is in excellent condition but I require the following parts & I'd really appreciate advice from members on obtaining the following parts - (I am based in North London).

My factory fitted sunroof operates fine but a tiny part has corroded which means that when I shut the roof I have to use my fingers to pull down the inner flap, therefore a replacement sunroof rod is required.

The gear shift no's have popped out of the golf ball & won't fit back in, I suppose I could file down the glass to get it in but if replacements are available I'd like to know.

Replacement jack flaps on the black side skirts.

Many Thanks for your help.

LOL I WAS WONDERING TO! for the sunroof use a pop rivet cheap and simple, and i think gsf do the random trim parts you need, however you may need to buy a new gear stick nob. i would file and glue it personally tho

Many Thanks for all your tips. I tried to sort out the golf ball knob but ended up braking the plastic disc
Once I've got everything in place I'll post some pics & put the car on the market
