hello, eversince i've had this car the rear e/w switches on the rear doors arn't workin, i recently got one fixed wiv a new mechanism, cause it had been smashed an bodged as a patch up an wouldn't move! they work from the front completly fine! any ideas?? ???

Its all better now very shiny, but now the windows have gone again! and shocks are squeaking like mice!!aarrgghhh

Check the wiring loom in the back doors. On my old passat some geezer fitted new motors before i bought it, but didn't plug the switch in! doh!  ::)

sorted it i was being lazy, i didn't realise what the button did untill this morning, the one on the drivers door, beetween the windows and the looking bit, press that an in allows you to open them it's some kind of child lock type thing thanks anyway!! ;D
