Starter Motors!

Hi, i am in need of a new starter motor and was wondering if 1 from a VR6 will fit a 16V?

Personally, I very much doubt it.  One from an 8v might though...

They're not that expensive, I got one for my other halfs 8v Ibiza GTi for about £70 reconditioned.
