42mm V's 50mm Inlet

Does anyone know if the 50mm inlet really makes that much difference? looking at them the ports entering the head are the same size

not worth bothering imo, gary changed his inlet to a 50mm and lost power because of it.

I did wonder, the 42mm is meant to give more torque and the 50mm is meant to give more top end - i guess for normal driving torque is better than top end

I'll stick with my rocco one



The 50mm inlet's for sale then, i saw one got for £99 on ebay last week    that'll come in handy

I too noticed a little decrese in torque when i swapped for my larger intake.

I noticed 42mm inlet a lot better if just pottering around, When changed to 50mm top end was slightly better. Personally prefered 42mm.
