running like a beetle on idel

Hi all, well she's been standing out the back for about 5 months now, but i have started her every week and she is still firing up fine, but even after she has been idling for 15 mins there is a strong smell of fuel from the exhaust, so she is running rich and also she sound like a beetle, you the dut, dut, dut,dut.  I am not sure if it's the exhaust or what?


Any ideas?

check your dizzi and ht leads, sounds like your running on three cylinders! mine was like this and found that the dzzi was fooked!
