oil light flashing and beeping sound ???

hi people just got a 2.0 16v mk3 gti ,was drivin fine most of the day untill this oil light and sound started
so i stop had a look around the engine etc and all fine ,so i started on my way again after 1mile it started again so it made me think !what is it !!!! got 2 my missis home and had anothor look at oil etc all ok .
so i left it 2 cool down for an hour or so ready to take her to work ,it drove fine to her work with oil temp between 82c and 88c all the way 2 her work, which is 5 miles away from her home a soon as i was on my way back 2  my house it strated again !!it was at 90c and 92c !! so ive got  2 my house about 3miles from her work ,and had another look ? still dont  know ......

so what do u think it could be had a look in manual, and my think incorrect oil grade as i dont know whats in it ? but the oil is clean still golden
or the oil pressure switch

any other info will help thanks john

my guess is oil pressure switch, they are only a few quid & would be a good idea to change that 1st

Does it only do it when you get to a certain revs?

90-92 is about right for a fully warmed up engine. I'd say pressure aswell.

yep it was pressure ,taken the sump off and the oil pick up pipe was full of sh!t ,bits have came of the baffle plate !!!!!!!!!!!!!! bigs chunky bits in the sump and lots of it stuck in the  oil pick up pipeso it was clogged ! so cleaned it all out just got 2 put it all back together and all should be all  good
