were cars invented when you turned 18 gib? :undecided: (sorry, couldnt resist mate)

What a quality prezzy. looks really smart, things id do are possibly go back to standard mirrors as im not a huge fan of dtms, maybe change the front splitter too but seems theyre both colour coded id be tempted to leav it as is.

Christ, im 20 and wouldnt dream of tryin to insure a valver so good luck witht hat. should be a lot of fun for ya tho. just take care in it, will be quite a step up from the driver.

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle..

Thanks for the comments. My Mam is pretty cool, quite the VW fan for an oldie!! lol
And as for the splitter etc, i'll probably be taking it off and putting the standard one back on because I plan on going lower and it's a bit big for that.
It's also got a matching rear diffuser which i'll be taking off too, make is smoother lookin!!
Like I said i've got plans for it so any comments and suggestions are welcome!!

Thanks again,

golfpro, you're a cheeky tw@t !

Robbo, I love your motor, top colour and everything but if you want suggestions then if it was mine I'd possibly change the mirrors if I could be arsed, although I dont mind DTMs but I'd deffo change the Rallye/Jetta front end as I think they should be round lights as per factory, but that's just my opinion and the best thing you can do is to do what you like and don't be swayed by what people say. Keep us updated.

No probs.
General idea is to smooth it a little bit more, remove the bumpstrips on the doors, smooth where the boot plinth thing is with the lock.
Also going for some 8x15 deep dish wheels with stretched tyres, not sure yet though
These:

or these:

And a good slamming!!
I've also got a different recaro interior to go in from the other car and i'm thinkin bout buying this from a friend (if I can convince him to sell it):

And remove the tints from the back as they look COMPLETELY stupid since the front ones were removed (got fined for them being too dark as they only let 8% light through instead of 75% lol)

Yet again, comments very welcome. Thanks for looking and taking an interest

ATS cups all the way for new wheels matey, have a look at mine in the general and mk2 section. the only fault with them is there a rather soft alloy and bucke easy if you clip the wrong pothole :undecided:

Cool! Started a little trend without realising!!
Had a look and really like your car mate, looks amazing! How much is it lowered by because thats pretty much the ride height i'm looking for. How wide are your cups, I was looking at 8". I take it there is some serious arch work done to it?!
And thanks for the advice bout the wheels, i'll bare that in mind, was pretty much torn between the two but seeing the ATSs on ur car has made up my mind. ATS cups, here I come!!

Thanks,
