hi
i have sanded my sidestrips ready for a lick of paint, what finish should i go for? Either original looking (but smoothed without the plastic grain) or gloss black with laquer
i dont think body coloured would look good

im gonna need new bumpers anyway, i just put some new ones on from euro car parts and the fit of the front one is awful
sits far too low and the sides like flare out
could get some second hand vw ones and paint them aswell

I'd say gloss as long as you do the mirrors and rear spoiler too. But then would the grille look a bit weird unless u do that too? I can imagine that being a b!tch of a job though!
