hello all, forgive me if i have missed something!!!!

yesterday i returned to the car and opened the boot and saw that the cd was playing?

then when i returned later the radio was on and playing when i opened the door.

should this be happening while the keys are still in my hand or has it always been the case, is automatic??

The radio does work with ignition off but only of course if you turn it on.

There has been as issue with a few mark V Golfs and Golf Pluses where the radio comes on and off by itself. Usually this problem also has the side effect that it won't work when you want it to.  We've had a couple of cars do this. Get your dealer to check it out. It's only a ten minute fix from what I understand.
