Does anyone know how much a LH front wing for my 8v would cost new.

Are these easy to replace and how?
I wont attempt changing the wing if its welded in.

Thanx in advance

Dont ever fit pattern parts as they look really crap and are made out of really thin metal so the build quality is poor.

If you want an original wing for ?50 try the following.

Original VW bits at cheap prices. I've used them for a lot of things and they are excellent.

There is no welding needed just bolts. As said before don't get pattern panels as they are sh*te. I searched around by phoning all the vw breakers and managed to find a front wing in good condition in the correct colour. all for ?15! can't argue with that! Took about 2 hours to fit it up properly!

I'd go along with the above too. I'd always rather use VW or GPC rather than use pattern wings. The cheaper alternative is to pull an original wing off a car at the breakers........can be a bit of a nuisance if you're doing it yourself as although the wings are 'bolt-on' the amount of underseal and protection they put on the underside means that even with all the bolts removed, they stick like sh!t to a blanket...........worth the effort though, much better than a pattern one.
