I topped up power steering fluid today with m6162 which I was told to use
when I went to gsf.
So topped up checked the marker and was just under the max line, no
problems. Car was problem free before this dont even know if its relevant but worth mentioning.
Get in the car take it for a little drive, and 2 problems came up (may not
even be linked) first one is a light squeak \ whine for a couple of senconds
then it goes and keeps coming and going periodically. Whilst driving sounds
like it is coming from back right, wheel (drivers side)
Second problem I'm having is when I put the key in and turn it half way
round theres a crackling sounding noise, never had it before. Also I can
hear it when I turn the ignition off. It sounds like its coming from behind
the dashboard. God knows what it is but its driving me nuts.ÂÂÂ

forgot to add the whiney noise seems to come up usually when I turn right, if thats of any help.
Be glad of any assistance in finding out what these noises are
