welp undid my voltage regulator and it looks lie its seen better day the two carbon brushes are sticking out about 3mm. Anyone got a part number for the mk2 16v?

You need to know what make the alternator is, then get the right volt reg for it.  GSF sell em, nip in and have a word :)

AFAIK there are only two options, and they have slightly longer bushes on one than the other, should be different colours too.

cheers it dint have a sticker on it but i reckon its a bosch number is 0120489360 :grin:
