Changing the Rear Windscreen Wiper
« on: 19 January 2006, 16:24 »
I am thinking about changing the rear wiper to the one from a Skoda. I'm just unsure about which model Skoda it is from?

Is it easy to do and Where would i be able to get one from?

Thanks for the help!

Go for a skoda fabia one or a polo aero wiper they are easy to fit and are available from the espective dealerships, my skoda one was £16 all in for the arm, blade and bolt cover

go for the fabia one.. especially if you have a roof spoiler. i believe the polo ones need trimming because they hit the spoiler at the top of the arc.

I believe that you will find it is the other way around, the skoda one hits the spoiler ..  OMG the mighty topher makes a mistake

I get discount at newport skoda if you want I can get it.  You need 3 parts - Arm, blade and cap

LOL mate, i never known you get something wrong before :embarassed:
I got the skoda one and the actual arm cover bit sweeps past the top of the window, I have seen them shortened and plastic welded back together, not worth the hassle IMO

Cause if you ain't got a spoiler then it wont hit it :undecided:, plus the skoda one looks better IMHO
