the reverse lights in my 88 8v have stopped working. ive checked and chaged the switch if i short the two wires together the lights come on so the bulbs and fuses are ok. Does any1 know what actually prsses the switch inside the gearbox and if there is anyway of checking it. can it be anything to do with the gearstick not selecting reverse propaly(reverse gear itself works fine) i know it aint important but just one of those little probs that i would like to sort out i am really at a loss with this one so any help would be great
