Has anyone had a clutch done on an 8v GTI recently? How much did it cost?

Alternatively, how easy are they to do yourself?

Drop the gearbox out, replace pressure and friction plate and put gearbox back, re-align selectors (unless its cable change). Not easy at all really.

Usual price sits around £200-250.
