This may be an old chestnut, but I'm new to the forum so indulge me. My new 16V is standard, except for the exhaust, but I'm really surprised how quick it seems. I've had fast cars before (see my thread in newbies section) and OK my Accord Type R was awesome on the twisties, but the golf is so eager to rev that I'm sure it would hold its own to 60 at least. Has anyone with a relatively standard valver had a blast against modern hot hatches, like a fiesta ST or similar?
