What type of injectors are they. I had my injectors cleaned on a "asnu" machine and flow tested.
Only diesel injectors can be stripped down and rebuilt as far as I know. Anyone?.
Steve.

Its a early 1989 16v. How much did it cost to have yours cleaned and who did them for you?

Know someone with a machine ;), your engine uses k jet fuel injection system. Look in the yellow pages for a fuel injection specialist and ask if they clean injectors.
Check the price of new injectors first, so you will know if it is worth cleaning yours.
What is wrong with your injectors, I had mine checked over because I turbo'd my engine and did not want to have a cylinder run lean due to a blocked injector.

When i start the car up it coughs and splutters for about 5 secounds and ive read somewhere on here that its due to worn out rubbers in the injectors. This apparently causes them to leak when they are cold. when its warmed up the rubbers expand stopping the leaks. This was on here a long time ago so i tought it was worth a go because my 16v is running like dog sh!t at the mo. :-\

Remove the fuel lines from the injector inserts, the inserts will simply pull out.
