Mk1 Scirocco - Forum/Site
« on: 21 November 2005, 17:35 »
Not strictly a GTI I know, was looking for a Mk2 8v and got distracted by a Mk1 Scirocco Storm and before I knew it the cash had left my wallet!
I was wondering if anyone knew of and Mk1 Scirocco forums or sites, found a couple but were US based.
Cheers
Biz
PS - It's good to have an old VW back after selling my Mk2 GTI 18 months ago.

cheers for the links, safely stored in my favourites.
The Scirocco is still in it's full brown glory complete with the leather interior. It was apparently resprayed in 1997 and had a GTI 8v engine, gearbox and rear discs fitted. It's got a set of 15" alloys that don't suit the car and will change for something a bit more 'old skool and also take off the towbar!
It's pretty good, a few spots of rust on the wings and thats about it - fingers crossed
It was apparently featured in a car mag a few years ago.
Not sure how to post photos, tried the insert image icon but no success, but if you know I'll put a couple of pics.
cheers
