Mk2 valuation!
« on: 15 November 2005, 17:31 »
I own a Mk2 gti 16v 1990, it has 103,000 on the clock and loads of service history. The interior is mint and so is the bodywork with not a bit of rust on it. It is 100% original at the moment and I was wondering how much its worth.

I'm not looking to sell it as I payed peanuts for it. I brought it from my work as a part exchange for £500 in april.

Anyone know roughly how much it wouls fetch?

I may have to sell my beloved MK2 valver next year as I am planning to move to New Zealand.

Spec as follows:

90' H
Tornado Red
Big Bumper
134,000 miles with history/receipts since both me and my old man have had it (last 5 years between us)
Mint rainbow interior with no bolster wear
No rust
Paintwork in very good condition (no fade)
Elec windows
Power Steering
BBS wheels
Standard apart from drilled air box, drilled fast road pads and Goodrich brake lines
Oil and filter change every 5,000 miles
Cat 1 alarm and imobiliser
Drives and pulls like a valver should.

I'm hoping to get around £1,500 for her as I would say shes in good overall condition but with some going from £500 to £2,500 it's hard to guage an accurate price.

How much do you think shes worth.
