bloody weather

finally got my valver back together with its new 2.0 heart...if only the goddam devon rain would stop it might run on at least 2 cylinders

everything is totally soaked, reckon about 4 hours wiith a hairdryer will fix it though  :grin:
If only my Volkswagen was as reliable as everyone else's...

Apparently they used to do this on the big diesels in the army in the good old days before glow plugs!

Yep its finally in...i have the scars to prove  :cry:

it fired up briefly at about 1am this morning but then battery died- a new battery and some easy start should do it!

fingers crossed it will be running by sunday- i plan to meet up with you guys in taunton on my way to london. :smiley:

well the engine would defo get to london...if i put it on the train.

some idiot  :rolleyes: seems to have put the clutch in wrong...nice grinding noise and you can start engine with car in gear..

woops, out it comes again... :undecided:

damn this car is gonna get caned when its all fixed!!
