Got it back today and i have to say it's miles better... Turns out that whilst skimming my head, the YT lad they must've used had put a groove in it going into pot 3. The garage has reskimmed the head and replaced, but true to form the temp guage aint working now  FFS!!!!

Will keep you updated as to what goes on

BTW the cheeky fker wanted another £50 for "stripping down my air flow sensor as it was jammed, that's why it was running lean"... seems to me that it would run lean if you put coolant into one of the pots!
