Door trim
« on: 26 October 2005, 12:56 »
ive just bought a set of 90 spec arches and sills for 30 quid, they dont have the door trim tho, what i want to do is keep the thick door trim rather than find some thin door trim as i prefere the thick trim, is this going to work or do i need to pursue finding some thin trim?   its all for a 3 door

It wont match up properly I don't think!  Since you've bought it you can just have a look when it arrives though eh :)

looking at the golf up the road with the same arches as the ones im getting, it looks like i could chop of the bit of trim coming off the front arches and use the thicker bit there, it should just sit happily agaist and slightly over the arch, as for the rear as you say ill have to wait and see, i may not even put them on as i have small bumpers and im just kinda hoping i can make it look ok without having to get the big bumpers ~:)
