Battery coding
« on: 03 April 2026, 14:18 »
I’ve just installed a new battery that I now need to code. I have OBDeleven but I don’t have the pro subscription. I noticed in the one click apps you can change the battery capacity and type. The capacity has changed from 70 to 72 on the new battery. The type remains AGM. My question is can I just change the capacity for the car to know it’s a new battery or do I have to enter the new serial number which will mean I’ll have to buy the pro sub. Thanks for any help.

I think you have to change the serial number. Can you do it by buying 10 credits on your set up?
I have the pro version so can't give definitive answer.

Unfortunately not. You can only change capacity and type and each of those is 30 credits each! I can get the Pro subscription for £42 so I may have to bite the bullet.
