What adjustments would I have to make if I fitted LHD headlights to my Mk2? Would it just be a case of fitting beam adjustment stickers as if I had RHD lamps and was going to Europe?

I've seen plenty of lights on German ebay and they are A LOT cheaper than buying here (no surprise there really!), even taking into account the shipping cost. Particularly fancy some smoked crosshair ones - they go for about £30 plus shipping, cheap as chips...............

not worth it i wouldn't have said. they probably could be tweaked using the old frames and just replacing the lens part. plus sticking beam benders would look proper gash, would totally negate the cool headlamp thing! :P

Thanks for the reply JOe, or should I now say Blow..........

Not too bothered about the look of beam benders tbh - hopefully going to live in Europe next year so LHD headlights would be ideal, no need to have the beam benders on them........decisions, decisions...............

Mind you, there are plenty of immigrants driving their Polish/Lithuanian/etc. foreign cars round here and they don't have beam benders on - presumably they just blind everyone else while driving at night............
