mk 8.5 golf r line

hi people
if anyone here has a mk8.5 golf r line  i would like to know are you pleased with it ? . i have had my one since march and although the finish inside and general stuff is good once you sort out things i must say im disappointed with the drive of this car. this is my third golf and the best drive has been the mk6 tsi i had never let me down and excellent driving feed back. the road noise with the r line is unbelievable on the nexen n fera sport tyres 17 inch and the suspension is unforgiving i know the r line has lower suspension and stiff shocks but i had this set up on my other golfs which wasn't no where like this ride. was thinking to change the tyres for the road noise ( suggestions please ) as a start to get a better drive.
any help would be great thanks

You may not many replies on here.

However, Goodyear F1 A/S 6 has a good reputation for a quieter ride than most low profile performance tyres. Last year I changed to them from Michelin PS 5 s and noticed some difference.

Have you checked whether the transport pucks have definitely been removed from the suspension Grit?
