Mk7.5 Wireless Phone Charger - Inbay
« on: 31 May 2025, 09:07 »
I’m struggling to find a wireless charging solution for rhd cars, but came across this one:-

https://www.inbay.systems/en/product/charging-compartment-vw-golf-7-rhd/

Has anyone here fitted one of these?, any feedback?

Cheers

Iv been looking for a wireless solution as well, all the wireless chargers Iv seen are left hand drive only, the one you have posted looks promising but reviews on Amazon for it doesn’t look good unfortunately.

I got one of these, allbeit from Ebay a year or two back, fits a treat:

It's very hard to find a right hand drive version of any of these chargers though nowadays.

Any issues with it? Does your phone have a case and does it still work OK?

It works well, wouldn't say it's particularly fast charging as my desk chargers but does the job over a reasonable journey to keep or top it up. I do have a case on it but it's a pretty thin one, my wife has a thicker case which also still charges so as long as you don't have a mega thick industrial like phone case you should be good.

I got it to go along with a wireless carplay dongle so i'd not have to plug anything in, the combo works a treat.
