Rear pad wear
« on: 28 July 2024, 22:27 »
Do the rear pads have wear electronic indicators or is it purely keeping an eye on them?

I ask because when I had my yearly service back in March they said I would need rear pads probably in the next few thousand miles - for me this could be 3-6 months - although of course they wanted them booked in straight away.

Looking today it was hard to tell - maybe I had 3-4mm but I don't want to leave them too long - what's the minimum pad thickness we are comfortable with?

Worth knowing the inner pads wear quicker than the outer pads.

Sounds like it's worth getting them changed in the next month or two.
