Refreshing my Parkers
« on: 15 November 2023, 17:33 »
Car is now 4.5 years old, 38,000miles and the most reliable (and oldest) car I have run.
No plans to change but thinking about a wee refreshing in the wheels area.

I think the wheels and brakes are always an attention grabber.

I always paint the rotors with Hammerite Silver as soon as I get any car so will plan to clean and repaint.
Will also replace the centre caps ( maybe go TCR?) and give the whole wheel a deep clean plus red calliper clean.

So my questions are :
1) What is best cleaner for callipers (nooks and crannies)?
2)I would like to paint the inner wheel rims with gloss black Hammerite to make them easier to clean.

On point 2 has anyone done this and is there a reason not to do it?
