I need to replace the air condenser on the Clubsport S
VW quote £350+ vat for the part but I’d get 30% discount and then fitting to be added to that - I didn’t ask the fitting cost but I know it’s about 2 hours labour
I can buy an aftermarket one from Euro cars parts AVA is the make for £38 and the VW garage are happy to fit it when the car is in for service or I could fit myself and get it re-gassed by them but it easier to let them do it
Seems like it’s a no brainier but I’ve never heard of AVA although a bit of googling shows them to be a big company and surely it will do the same job for a lot less money
