Sport suspension vs DCC
« on: 09 August 2023, 14:55 »
I bought my GTI nearly new from a dealer, one of the options I have is the sport suspension (which is necessary due to the 19 inch estorils). However, in the individual mode I have the DCC option visible. Is this option possible with only the sport suspension? I suppose not, but clearly they would know if the car had an expensive / in demand option as DCC.

Cheers

When 19” wheels are optioned at build, ‘sports’ suspension is added, this actually refers to the fact that the suspension is lower when 19’s are fitted, around 10mm I think, this is why any mk8 GTI/R that has had 19” wheels fitted to a car that came with 18’s looks like it’s jacked up 4x4 style! If you have the DCC slider control as pictured, you have DCC.
