Gotta love a GTI
« on: 24 November 2022, 19:49 »
So I stopped outside my local garage as they were taking some pictures of some of their cars the other night. Asked if I could have a look around and when they saw my car they said “yeah of course, love your TCR, we have one in stock but can’t afford one so got a GTI PP instead” then other guy said yeah love a golf GTI getting one soon but wanted a TCR too.  Another guy M2 and brought it round.  But you know, with the cars they were taking photos of to love a Golf GTI and go mad for it…got to be special.

So the cars they were taking pics off…I didn’t take one of the £3m La Ferrari, had a Veyron outside but love it or hate it this is the Grand Vitesse with Tiffany Blue, stand out colour but not my choice but hey, probably unique but the McLaren 😳😳😳😳 damn that is a car!!!

There is some money there! If you look close enough you will see another Veyron Grand Vitesse and another La Ferrari but the Senna did it for me, fair bit cheaper at £775k but it’s the looks! Agree?!

Would you? Bought and garaged and never really driven! If you have one and want to sell then a good price!

Nice pics.

Are they cars to be driven and enjoyed or just an investment? Ignore the dealer commission but what's that CSS done, 16k in 6 years, tax free?

Some absolute works of art there.
It just goes to prove how awful it must be to be filthy rich, I mean just how would you choose one amongst all those? Thankfully I’ll never have that dilemma.

Thanks, always a joy to drive past and see latest stock, we can all dream a little 🤣 been lucky to stop off just at right times before! That CSS has only 127 miles on clock! Travesty or wise decision?

The only time I’ve seen a Chiron, P1 and F50 Schumacher Edition!

I've seen 4 or 5 that have turned up with delivery miles since August. I believe the 26m black car went for a little under asking so 14k in 6 years less storage costs (if applicable), insurance and any servicing. The delivery miles cars i've seen are on original tyres which at six years for a MPCS2 compound means they'll be less than optimal.
