I think you’ve secretly got an urge to be an early adopter of a mk8.5 R or Clubsport; you’ve had your current mk8 R now for a few months now so it must be time for a change……

Nah, I’d lose about two years worth of wages in depreciation selling the R, I’ll slum it for a bit longer! 😁
I was clearing out open tabs on my phone that haven’t been touched in months (years in many cases) and spotted the VW search still sat there, so decided I’d have a nose to see what stock VW were still pushing through to dealers.
My guess is they’ve run down pearl black and are now building Golfs in a different black before the facelift changeover. It’s not like any of them are actual customer spec builds.
I’ll struggle on without ChatGPT a little longer.
