He’s made his mind and is going to get the dsg one from the non vw dealership he had a test drive already and it drives spot on we went down there in my gti so he’s got a good reference on how it’s meant to behave, it’s better spec and really nice condition I’ll try put in a link. It’s just waiting for the 3rd  service and radio fm and dab reception to be fixed at the local volkswagin dealership . I haven’t got a clue what’s wrong with it everything else seems to work ie nav , CarPlay  cds etc just no fm and dab. Here’s a link

If the cars only done 15000 miles and the lease company went by milage rather that age then it would have only needed one service in their eyes, my cars done 25000 miles was registered in April 2018 and has had two sevices... if it had only done 15000 it might only have had one  :rolleyes:

My company cars are all on extended service plans and so its extremely likely that the one service at 15,000 miles is correct and not an issue.

You're wasting your time, this point has been made 3 or 4 times now including within a few comments from the start of this thread and has been ignored consistently :rolleyes:

He got the one from the non Vw dealers and it drives spot . I know maybe the other one would be ok but no service for 3 years vs 1 a year . The car drives fantastic apart from the odd stone chip he’s a happy lad . If anything my dsg on my car is noticeably louder than he’s , he’s seems to be very quiet . But thanks for everyone s advice , it Gave him a lot to think about and helped him with his decisions. He will be joining this site soon, so I’m sure he will have loads of questions lol

My car has been serviced 4 times by vw dealerships, and only one in the book, and one (a different one) on vw app,
