Sorry been on hols. She passed on fast idle, just. Looks like a similar problem next year :sad: Could be due to the 100 CEL cat plus the mileage 84000. Am going to try FTC pellets in the tank. Maybe snake oil, but for £30 I think it's worth a punt.

Total snake oil - don't put random crap in your tank to rattle around.

Have a look at this, as a graduate Chemist, I can confirm his science is sound:-

If you're getting carbon monoxide in your exhaust, your catalytic converter isn't running at its best, or there's not enough oxygen (from air in) in the engine to allow a proper  combustion (unlikely) and not enough oxygen getting  into the exhaust to convert CO to CO2. If your air filter is newish/clean and your mpg isn't crap, i'd blame the catalyst. Don't know whether there are effective cat cleaners out there. After all, if it goes through the fuel system, whatever's in it will be combusted.
