Error: Park Pilot
« on: 07 August 2019, 16:05 »
For the past few months I've been having this warning message come up on the MFD and alarm sound just about every time I start the car and put it in gear. I've had several diagnostic checks (through Indys as my car is out of warranty) using VCDS, Autologic and ODIS and they have all pointed towards faulty switches in the centre console, by the gearlever.  These have now been replaced but I am still getting the error. There is no other diagnostic report for the fault. I thought my final option was to take it to a VW dealer but the Indy has said that they will see exactly the same ODIS screen as them, ie. showing no faults.
Has anyone else had this issue or have any advice ?

I get it sometimes, not sure why though as it never shows up on any scans I do. I usually just press the button a few times and then it works fine.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

None of you have messed with your reversing bulbs have you? Swapped them for brighter ones or adjusted the power in VCDS?
