We have a 2014 GTi with 16k, I thought the rear shocks where on the way out so had VW look at them (under warranty) but they are fine, think its just a noisy rear end on GTi's :grin:

I know my Mrs always said that the Mk7 was very noisy in the back and its something you don't notice from the front seats.... or at least I didn't.

The only time I noticed it being noisy was when my rears on the last GTD feathered at 60k+
