Squeaky seat
« on: 21 August 2018, 13:53 »
Does anyone else seem to suffer with a squeaky drivers seat? I've been putting up with it as I usually have the radio on so don't hear it too much but it's starting to annoy me.

It seems to be the left hand bolster causing the issue - looks like it rubs against the seat belt buckle? I'm not a fat bastard before anyone suggests that is the problem ;)

Yes!! It started last week. Loud enough that the radio doesn't cover it up, and coming like you say from around the drivers side seat belt bolster. Roundabouts really get it going!

Both my front door cards rattle aswell, so I'm currently giving it a couple more weeks to see if anything else wants to rattle before I book it in to get it looked at

My seat was squeaking. I was advised by the garage to try adjusting the seat height. This worked for my seat.

I've tried adjusting the seat up and down, but it seems to do it no matter where it's positioned...
