Hi, i found the car I was looking for from the June festival in Leeds, this is it:

This is my car:

Basically I want my car to look like the red one but in Black. Anyone have any sugesstions/ideas/names of bodyshops near Leeds where I could get this done? Any ideas of cost etc. Also does anyone know exactly what has been done to this car? Thanks.

Looks like lots of toil and trouble sourcing some rare bits to me. To get yours looking like that wouldn't be too hard when you get the bits, looks like you need to lower yours (probably on coilovers to get that low), get some 14" or 15" Deep dish alloys (are they ATS cups ?, not sure :undecided: ), put some 195/45/15 tyres on, find some chrome wing mirrors, get the chrome side trim (I think www.gpcvwaudi.co.uk do these), find a grill with the chrome surround instead of the red. That's about all I can see different at the moment.

Where in Leeds are you ? There's a meet in Yeadon on 23rd October at 12 noon.  I was living in Yeadon until earlier this year and I'm temporarily in Bradford at the moment so I wont be far from you.
......now officially dubless.

Hi, I'm in Garforth (East Leeds). I will try and get there but I work Sundays. Thanks for the info. I sorted out my interior today, full leather this November!

Don't worry I am keeping my car black! Just want to make it look as good as the red one but keeping it black. What do you think? Good Idea/Bad Idea? Any suggestions?

Entirely up to you but it's looking pretty damn fine as it is to be honest. You do what you think is right, you could always take some more photos and then get some of our photoshop guru's to do some shopping on them to see what your ideas will look like. i.e. Wheels, trim taken off, silver mirrors etc. Have a look in the Virtual Mods section in the Cosmetic board and you'll see what I mean.

I know mine looks good and its in pretty good condition but I just think that red one is top notch!! Managed to get some chrome side strips and think I might be able to get my hands on some chrome mirrors, Can get some new ATS cups for about £300, just need the grille surround and the door handles. Any ideas?? Oh yeah and my bumper is very tight and I've already had to do a bodge paint job as it rubbed the paint away and rust appeared so I want to get some chrome bumpers too. (See Bumper question). Then I just need to sort the wheel arches, tyres and possibly lower her? Any more help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Gemma.
