So I was browsing Autotrader as I often do (more of my interest for cars than making a purchase!), and was interesting to see such a wide variance of used/new near prices for 2017 year GTI/Clubsport and R versions of the Golf.
For instance, just at the £28k mark only gets you the following:
1. '17 5dr Manual Mk7.5 R with under 5k miles
2. '66 5dr DSG Mk7 R with 5.5k miles
3. '67 5dr Manual Mk7.5 GTI PP with 19s, 1.5k miles
4. '17 5dr DSG Mk7 CS40 with 8k miles
Cheapest Mk7.5 GTI looks to be under £24k, great value if you want a manual 3dr.
Lots of CS40 as well, including virtually un-driven ones. Did they struggle selling these in 2016?
Seems just a wide array of pricing, no idea how non facelift R's are virtually same price as facelift models.
Anyone bought a 2nd one recently, what you pay and what made you for it over all the others?
