I used badgeskins in the end. Looks brilliant, and so easy to apply. Will post pictures later

Do the badge skins just stick over the original badges? Is it an easy job to do?

They might look good on my incoming indium Grey GTi.  :smiley:

I was thinking of same for mine but gloss black as red looks a bit like up-badging.

Yes, they do. The Badgeskins website has a section showing how to apply them. Link;

Yes going red is a bit of up badging but given only experts like us guys would know that I think it's ok. To most people it will just look that bit better and they will not even know the badges were changed.

I wonder if Mk7 GTi "red" badges will ever increase in value. I used to own a Corrado VR6 Storm and the badges on that to replace would now cost a small fortune  :laugh:

How long does delivery take? I've emailed them days ago but not heard back. Not great for customer service.

I got an email confirmation almost immediately and badgeskins arrived within a week from the US.

GTI PP badges are beautiful looking things although I'm not sure if they will increase in value :undecided:
I might order a spare set just in case though :wink:
