Any luck with laser level?
Mine's got incorrect position error as well (according to VW dealer hit by road debris and they replaced mount).

Didn't need to use it in the end, as the sensor clipped back into its mount which wasn't broke, and pulled back into position. All seems to be working ok so I think I've been very lucky. I've got a brand new mounting kit if anybody needs one!

Too late now, dealer fitted it to mine.
Although feels all very dodgy to me. They say they looked at ACC sensor due to fault code, I scanned it a week before and no ACC faults. No signs of any impact on front of the car either. Sensor itself was not changed either, nor the shroud around it..... nothing looks like they had a knock. If it wasn't a company car I'd go up the walls as they want money for it (and at the same time reject to change the scored crap they use as rear brakes on a 6 months old car).
