It's going back for them to fix . Said they are going to 'polish' it out, but I'll insist on it being done again properly

This could be a bigger issue, if they have to strip and repaint the will probably have to re-machine the face also so reducing the metal left on the wheel possibly weakening it.

These wheels are soft as it is and I would not like to use a wheel that has had 2 refurbs.

Its purely a paint issue Vidman - no need to go to the trouble of skimming metal off....

It may be a paint issue but if they strip the paint it will also strip the lacquer off the front and may pit or discolour the machined face so it will have to be re-machined prior to a re-lacquer.
