It's a long time since I've posted, largely because my 2013 GTD has been with out fault - until a week ago! I was putting air into the tyres with my iPod playing gently via the cable attachment when, all of a sudden, no music. The MFD is displaying "audio not currently available". I have no sound via cable or Bluetooth, neither is there any sound for the radio or nav. Using the volume sliders in "set up" has not worked as as soon as I move them they go back to zero. Tried a reboot (several times) by holding down the on/off switch. No change. Had a phone consultation with a vw technician, he suggested a reboot again, he was then at a loss. Car is booked in (£140 for a diagnostic check) and car is one month out of warranty. Can anyone help get my sound back as everyone hates my singing and I can't stand the missus giving me directions!
