My Golf has the standard tint, my wife's has the 90% tint. When you are inside there's not that much between them.

 No problem with the rear view mirror you can still see out and it still auto dips if necessary
I would say   at night you may struggle to see whos driving the car behind ,
unmarked police car for example  ,  cant see their uniform 
so drive  safetly  :smiley:
