I collected my new GTI 3 days ago now - absolutely loving the car but the Bluetooth audio is doing my head in. I've got the Discover Nav MIBII which pairs to my iPhone 6 with no issues. Phone works perfectly well and it imports all my contacts. However when I want to listen to music over BT I get lots of issues.
I select media, then source and select BT. It then displays "James' iPhone" but that's as far as I get. When I press the selection button it says "Bluetooth audio device - no track list available"
The only way I can get it to play music from my phone is if I start the track playing from the phone itself which completely negates the point of bluetooth IMO.
I was hoping I could go straight from radio to bluetooth audio via the head unit without touching my phone at all.
Any ideas?
