Hi Guys,

My car failed it's MOT this morning on a tyre bulge and most worryingly emissions!

The car is stage 2 tuned with a scorpion sports cat downpipe and scorpion cat back.

I have it booked in at a local garage to check the cat this afternoon. The MOT garage said they thought there was nothing in it, ie empty!

If this is the case I will be very p*ssed of as I paid the garage who fitted it for a sports cat, not a straight through!

The readings are way over the limits. Does anyone have a sports cat fitted and know their readings? It would be good to know what they should be.

Also going to ask them to run a diagnostics check.

Thanks

Had the car back from the garage. The downpipe is a sports cat which is a relief but something is still not right, possibly with the map..

It's going in again tomorrow for more road tests/diagnostics.

sometimes sports cat fail emissions. was the car fully up to temperature? All cars will  failif they are cod starts, this is how garages con you out of money. (tried in on my wife till i went storming down and called them out on it.)

Also, easiest way is to pay a back street garage an Extra £10-£15 to pass it for you
