Boot closure

I can't get my boot to latch at the moment,  I have tried recycling the locks, pushing a screwdriver into the latch to see if it will lock and giving the boot a good slam, has anyone else had issues.

I have give mine a proper slam to get it shut, there's some tips here which I plan to follow when I get some time:
