Ya see perhaps the GTi is too expensive?

VW seem to have released the new R32 quicker than the mk4 one wasn't the Mk5 nearly out by the time they released it? Maybe thats what makes the GTi/R32 seem so close in price?
 Perhaps VW will lower the price of the GTI when it comes out.....we can all live in hope eh?

This stems from the success of the original R32. VW sold twice as many as they had expected to, so when development was underway for the Mk5, an R32 model was planned for launch pretty much straight away, so they could captitalise on these sales for the whole of the Mk5 self life, not just the last couple of years like they did with the original one.

Dont forget, 24k will get you a very nice Mitsubishi Evo ! not to mention all the used car options!

Evo's are japanese and therefore have horrible dashboards thats enough to put me off even if it is a very quick car

Do you know what, i would prob rather have a Mk4 R32 over an Evo, even though i do realy like Evo's! i Just love the Mk 4 R32

Not that keen on the MK5 version, dnt like the clio sport style exhausts and not keen on the wheels but i am sure it will grow on me!!
